Upper Norwood could be rid of a 'local eyesore' if a £7 million scheme to provide modern accommodation for homeless young people is given the go-ahead. (Sourced from The Post.)
South London YMCA is putting the final touches to its plans, which it hopes will be submitted to the council in October.
The scheme involves the replacement of the existing YMCA hostel in Sylvan Hill.
If approved it would provide 78 self-contained studio and slightly larger flats in three linked blocks.
