Croydon in line for regeneration gongs

Croydon’s work to combat the effects of the recession has been recognised by the judging panel of the “Regeneration and Renewal” magazine awards.
The borough was nominated in two prestigious categories, “regeneration partnership of the year” and “boosting a local economy”.
The first recognises how successful an area’s regeneration efforts have been, while the second is given to the organisation that has done most to improve a deprived area’s economy. The awards are announced on September 23rd.
