Published: 2010-03-09 09:50:18

Croydon's newest office development Tricos Imobiliaria's Impact House played host to scores of London's commercial property agents on 4 March.

It was the last stop on the Croydon Open Day, held to highlight the wide range of office space available in London's largest borough.

Other locations included Prospect First with its state-of-the-art marketing suite, Carolyn House, Stephenson House, Tolley House, CityLink House, Christopher Wren and Sunley House.

Impact House, the former Royal Mail building has recently undergone an £18million redevelopment and turned into office space.

Croydon NHS Primary Care Trust has already agreed to move into the ground floor.

Vanessa Clark, of Sinclair Clark, who co-organised the event with local marketing firm White Label Consultants, said: "The delivery of Impact House in the current economic climate is a testament to the confidence the Ibraimo family has in Croydon as an area to invest and we hope that today will be a significant landmark in the borough's exciting and ambitious regeneration plans. The future is bright for Croydon."

Councillor Steve O'Connell, Croydon Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development spoke at the lunch: "Events like this are massively important because here today we have pan-London representatives of the commercial property sector and we are very excited about things that are happening in Croydon at the moment.

“Croydon is on the up and Impact House is evidence of the hard work that has been taking place behind the scenes in the private and public sector. This project - and the open day - can only be described as good news for Croydon."
