TfL cash to improve Norwood Junction

The passenger experience at Norwood Junction will soon be easier and more pleasant thanks to £280,000 of funding from Transport for London (TfL).
 
The money will be used to upgrade the South Norwood station and the surrounding area, and work will begin in the autumn. read more

CEDC funding to be cut back

Funding for Croydon Economic Development Company (CEDC), which is responsible for facilitating economic growth in the borough, faces big cuts after a cabinet meeting on 12 July.
 
The cuts are being made in response to the reduction of almost £5 million in the funding the council receives for Area Based Grants. read more

Local business people were treated to a unique view of Croydon last month when Impact House opened its 15th floor for breakfast.
 
The event was staged as part of the London Festival of Architecture and was attended by over 60 guests, including Croydon Central MP Gavin Barwell and Cllr Steve O'Connell. read more
