Mini power station plan for Croydon town centre

CCURV: 'the only show in town'

Jamie Kerr, director of regeneration and education at John Laing, used the recent SocInvest regeneration finance conference to highlight the successes of his company's urban regeneration vehicle agreement in Croydon.
 
He said: "CCURV works. It is the only show in town. Why not get the private sector involved sooner? Projects are on the ground in Croydon and results will be seen after the upturn." read more

Croydon agrees funding for 250,000 sq ft services hub

Croydon Council has agreed the funding for a 250,000sq ft public service delivery hub, which is the first phase of its regeneration joint venture with John Laing. (Sourced from Public Property UK.)
 
The building, which is due to complete in spring 2013, will be the first tangible result of a joint venture between John Laing and the council, called Croydon Council Urban Regeneration Vehicle. The deal, which was agreed in 2008 and is set to end in 2033, aims to implement the Croydon town masterplan. read more

Family Mosaic's Dakota House development has enjoyed buoyant early sales success, with 23 apartments being reserved in the first two weeks of availability.
